| Posted by qtshee(Noob) on May 16, 2007 8:50 AM |
Hi Everyone,
I think everyone should come out to this hot concert May 31st at the Metro: 3730 N. Clark. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. The tickets are only $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $20 for VIP(food, Dahon bike raffle, premier view of the concert).
I-GO had this wonderful idea to support Chicago artist and their music. They decided to ask bands to submit songs (March), vote their songs onto the CD (April), and attend a concert of all great Chicago bands (May 31st)
The performers on the ticket are Detholts, Palliard, Madison Buchanan, Imelda De La Cruz, and Animate Objects, with DJ sets by Quantazelle and Flawlezs.
All Attendees will receive a free compilation CD featuring Koko Taylor, Devil in a Woodpile, Andrew Bird, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and more, a free one year subscription to Time Out Magazine, gifts bags, and free bike valet.
The compilation underscores I-GO's long-time commitment to Chicago and its local roots. I-GO Car Sharing is a Chicago-based non-profit committed to economical and environmentally sound transportation choices. I-GO Car Sharing replaces more than 2,000 cars from the road and saves CO2 emissions. I-GO Car Sharing is a non-profit affiliate of the Center for Neighborhood Technology, a 501(c)(3) corporation. |
